My poem Grandfather’s House is in the Summer 2016, Vol. 10 Issue 2 of Mused – the BellaOnline Literary Review and on The Penman Review, Southern New Hampshire University’s online literary journal. Grandfather’s House is a Cinquain poem which has stanzas of five lines.
I created this poem from a memory invoked from a unicorn statue I claimed when my grandmother passed away. I was 13 when she died, and 16 when my grandfather passed. Both of them were extremely special to me despite only seeing them a few times as we lived in Alaska and they lived in California. I hope you enjoy my poem, and please consider supporting Mused by purchasing a print copy of the issue.
I ran a featured Pagan Parenting column in Elemental Magick’s e-zine. It is no longer in publication, but previous issues are still available.
